The Interfaculty Research Cooperation (IRC) "One Health" is the first of three approved interfaculty projects funded by the University of Bern. Starting on 1 February 2018, it combines two of the University of Bern's thematic priorities - sustainability and health/medicine. 

Scientists are combining their expert knowledge to work on cutting-edge transdisciplinary research questions to make this venture possible. Their study will establish a food-chain approach to "One Health" within the international scientific community and at the University of Bern. The initiative also supports young researchers, to train a new generation of competent, interdisciplinary scientists.
